The standard powertrain is the brand’s venerable 3.6L Pentastar™ V6 with an eTorque mild hybrid system that adds a 90 lb‑ft of torque boost, when necessary. Most 2025 RAM 1500 models will ship with the new 3.0-litre Hurricane inline six-cylinder engine that delivers similar performance and capability figures as the outgoing HEMI® V8 engines. For drivers who need more power, top-trim variants feature the turbocharged 3.0-litre Hurricane inline six-cylinder engine that generates 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque!
