Stow 'n Go® seats are a fold-flat seating system exclusive to Chrysler (and previously Dodge) minivans. Unlike traditional seats that need to be manually removed to create more cargo space, Stow 'n Go® seats conveniently fold into hidden compartments in the floor. This allows for a seamless transition from passenger seating to cargo space without the hassle of lifting heavy seats.
How Do Stow 'n Go® Seats Work?
Designed with ease of use in mind, the Stow ‘n Go® system is simple to use and only requires a handful of steps to operate.
- Prepare the Floor Storage Compartments: Each Stow 'n Go® seat has a dedicated storage compartment beneath the floor. To access it, locate the floor panel in front of the seat you want to stow then pull the handle or latch to open the compartment.
- Fold the Seat: Find the seat strap or lever. Pull on the strap or the lever to release the locking mechanism then carefully guide the seat into the under-floor storage compartment.
- Close the Floor Panel: Once the seat is tucked away, simply close the floor panel to create a flat and spacious interior cargo area.
- Restore the Seats to their Original Position: If you no longer need the cargo room, or if you need to seat people instead of cargo, simply lift the panel, pull the seat back up, lock it into place and you’re done!
